The company
Our company was established in 1928 by Ausonio Alemanni for the manufacture of cigarette paper. This article had already been sold by us since 1911, as exclusive Italian distributor of a French firm, Bois Frères of Lyons. 2011 will therefore mark the centenary of our business activities.
In the late 1930s, our company also began selling cigarette holders with paper filter, which became very popular with smokers considering that at that time all cigarettes were sold without filter
In 1950, production began of silica gel filters, and in 1970 of elastic valve filters (Valvo matic). More recently still, we began manufacturing disposable minifilters, as well as a line of cigarette and cigar extinguishers, with perfumed filter, called FUMINO'.
The company also makes pocket and home combs in various models.
FIBAM produces millions of filters for customers in Italy, Europe and other countries.
